Spotlight Communications was engaged in 2022 to communicate the new-look Gansevoort with an international brief. The integrated PR campaign highlights the 186-room hotel, its three restaurants – The Chester American Bistro, the European-inspired Coffee + Cocktails and the intimate omakase concept Saishin. In addition to the new Gansevoort Rooftop (featuring a 45-foot heated pool), in 2024 Spotlight’s brief was extended to include NYC’s latest membership club at Gansevoort, Seven24 Collective.
Spotlight works with the hotel’s team on a long-term creative PR programme to inspire key media. The Gansevoort brand legacy, coupled with the local neighbourhood – with its prominent art, design, tech and local heritage – form a strong backdrop for a communication strategy underpinned by NYC lifestyle events.
With a focus on the UK, European, and Australian markets, Spotlight has delivered numerous top-tier media stays, plus various partnerships e.g. with PLAY Airlines for a dedicated Irish press trip as well as with FT How To Spend It as its ‘home in NYC’. Many other opportunities to collaborate with international LGBTQIA+ lifestyle influencers have also been created.
